CHRISTA VIDYALAYA

To reach out to the people around and to inculcate healthy values among the young, Christha Vidyalaya, a Kannda Medium School, was started under the guidance of Fr. Thomas Benedict Kaitharath, on June 1, 1983. With eight students in LKG, Christha Vidyalaya was begun. Its High School section was commenced in 1990. September 30, 1992 will ever remain a memorable day in the annals of Christha Vidyalaya, for it was on this date, the foundation stone of the new building of the school was laid by Rev. Fr. Thomas Mampra, Prior General of the CMI Congregation. The new block was blessed by Fr. Thomas Kadankavil, Rector of Dharmaram College, on June 1, 1993. It was formally inaugurated by the Honourable Chief Minister of Karnataka Sri. Veerappa Moily on August 14, 1993. The new Block was constructed and blessed in 2006
