 In the absence of Dr. Joseph Pathrapankal, Dr. Kurian Kachappilly read out Dr. Pathrapanka's  paper entitled Dynamics of Human formation in religious formation. He started by quoting St. Irenaus, “ Glory of God is a man fully alive” and called for the need for redefining the formation by giving it a human face.

Prof. Joseph I. Inchody presented the paper on the subject CMI Legacy in Education Ministry. Mentioning himself as a critic of the CMI congregation, he lauded the wonderful works done by the congregation in this field and also defined the need for a centralized cmi educational system so that all the detalils related to each and every institutions can be known and join together for a collective development rather than trying for individual excellence.

The theme Globalization and its impact on Education in India was presented by Ms. Grace Pias and Mr. Tomy Kallarackal. They brought to light the changing scenarios in the field of education from their life experiences. They also emphasized the need to have a revision in the formation in religious housed keeping in mind the Globalized, techno savvy world.

At 2:30 pm there was Panel discussion. Dr. Mani Chacko, Dr. Thomas Chatamparampil CMI, Dr. Stanislaus Swamikannu SDB, Sr. Lizeria AC and Pastor Dr. Evangelin were the panelists. Dr. Dominic Veliyath SDB was the moderator. All of them stressed the importance of Formation through Integral Education.

Dr. Thomas Kollamparambil, President of DVK and the convener of the National Seminar, proposed the vote of thanks.
