The celebrations started on Saturday morning paying prayerful tributes to Dharmaram's founding Fathers Bishop Jonas Thaliyath and Fr. Maurus Valiyaparampil, the then-Prior General, and the departed former Staff members. Bishop Gratian Mundadan of Bijnor presided over the Solemn Requiem Mass. It was followed by a gathering of the old students and Staff. Fr. Lucas Vithuvattickal spoke in detail about their initial experiences at the inception of Dharmaram. Fr. Antony Kariyil, Prior General, laid the foundation stone for the new Research Centre of D.V.K. In the afternoon, there was a Solemn Mass celebrated in the St. Thomas Forane Parish Church situated in the Dharmaram campus itself. Bishop Gregory Karotemprel of Rajkotparish was the Main Celebrant. Fr. Mathew Kaniamparampil, Vicar General, felicitated the parishioners. The Church also is celebrating its Silver Jubilee. Today Dharmaram Staff serves 7 parishes and 21 Mass centres in the city of Bangalore.

On Sunday, the Solemn Divine Liturgy started at 9.00 a.m. Cardinal Varkey Vithayathil, the Major Archbishop of the Syro-Malabar Church, was the Chief Celebrant. Bishop Simon Stock of Jagdalpurm Bishop Joseph Kunnath of Adilabad, Bishop Gregory of Rajkot and about 250 priests concelebrated. It was followed by a public meeting. Cardinal Varkey Vithayathil was the President. Msgr. Albin Grous, Asst. Secretary, Congregation for Education, Rome, was the Guest of Honour. Fr. Prior General, Fr. Thomas Mampra, Fr. Thomas Aykara, Fr. Alex Thannipara, and Fr. James Narithookil, Rector, spoke on the occasion. Students of Dharmaram, Christ College, Christ English and Kannada Schools presented cultural programs.
